About us.

Greetings!

"Applied Truth & Interest" or, simply, "ATI" is a blog for Christian believers. This site is all about applying God's truth, revealed in the Bible and the testimony of Jesus Christ, to those issues, concerns, subjects, and interests relevant to a Christian's daily life. The truth is His, and the interest is ours. Here are a few examples:

What is "truth," and why does it matter?

What is true "religion?"

Why Heaven is an important aspect of Christian life.

"What is 'dating' anyway?"

ATI will also include movie, book, media, and music reviews from a Christian perspective geared toward enabling our readers to make an informed decision concerning whether to watch/read/listen to any given title.

ATI will also link you to important news reports from reputable sources (if there is such a thing in our post-modern society). You will find reports and political commentaries on elections, foreign policy, the economy, and finance.

Our primary contributors, John David Blair and Rob Bever, are an attorney and a software engineer, respectively. So, expect to see a lot of content involving law and technology. We will also, from time to time, have posts from guest authors, who will have varying backgrounds, educations, and experiences.

Please remember, however, any advice given on this blog should be taken with a grain of salt. No advice given on a blog can ever take the place of real world, face-to-face advice from a professional. Certainly, no information provided on this blog is intended to be exclusively relied upon by anyone in making business or personal decisions. It is true that a wise man seeks wise counsel, but a wise man also knows that advice given without all the facts can be of limited use. Even the wisest cannot fully advise you without knowing everything about your situation.

So, all introductory remarks and disclaimers aside, please enjoy this site. We hope you find it informative, inspirational, and, most importantly, revealing.

Peace and love in Christ Jesus,

John and Rob.
